Design Ireland

For Design Ireland at Showcase 2019 we were tasked with creating a series of hero images with Irish products from a variety of makers and categories. Inspired by the light and tone of 18th century still life painting, we created a set of dramatically lit images that told a compelling story about Irish craft and design. Each of our 5 images evoked a different backstory - from a country kitchen to a harbourmaster’s table. The concept for the show was to pare back the graphics to black and white, allowing the images and the story of slow-made Irish design to lead. The images continue to tell this story at international trade shows in Ireland, Europe & the US.
